Are you a charter school?

No, we are a private, Christian school with no affiliation to Duval County Public Schools or any Charter School organization. Arlington Community Academy provides an excellent, Christ-centered, private school education in the Arlington neighborhood.

Do I pay tuition?

Any amount of the annual tuition and fees that is not covered by the Florida Tax Credit or School Readiness scholarships must be paid by the parent on a monthly basis. ACA also accepts scholarships from Step Up for Students, AAA and McKay. See Fee and Tuition schedule.

Does my child wear a uniform?

YES, at Arlington Community Academy, each child wears a uniform with the ACA logo. See our Uniform Policy and information on ordering.

Are you affiliated with a church?

No. ACA is a Christian school but we are not affiliated with a specific church. We are a non-denominational school focused on teaching excellence academics, character development and Christian faith to families in Jacksonville. We welcome children of all faiths and we welcome families to attend our weekly chapel services. See weekly Chapel schedule.

Can non-Christian students attend ACA?

We welcome students of all religious faiths, race, color, family backgrounds, nationality, ethnic origin and household incomes. We teach about the Christian faith in our weekly Chapel services and we encourage prayer, reflection and biblical lessons throughout the school week.

What grade levels do you serve?

Currently, ACA serves students in VPK, Kindergarten and First Through Fourth Grade. We will grow each year until Fifth Grade.

Will my child use technology?

Each classroom is equipped with a Promethean Smart Board. Students use Chrome books in the classroom. ACA has 20 desktop computers in the Media Center, which students use for enrichment and assessments.

Is there a school bus or transportation provided?

Unfortunately, there is not transportation provided at this time. The parents/guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children at school each day.

Is there before/after school care?

Before school care is offered for a fee of $45 per month. After-school services are provided through our partnerships with Boys & Girls Club (for students ages 5 – 13).
