ACA was started by a small group of local residents who wanted to provide an exceptional education and make a positive impact in the lives of the children in Jacksonville. They wanted to create a socially-diverse and nurturing school environment, supported by a strong foundation of Christian values, character development, and parental involvement. This group envisions the students at ACA growing to become responsible and confident leaders who serve God, serve their families, and positively impact their communities.

Who started ACA and why?

Do I pay tuition?

ACA's mission is to provide excellent education and support for our families. Tuition assistance is available, but each family will be expected to contribute and be committed to their child's education. We are committed to providing each child with an opportunity to succeed. Your commitment as a parent/guardian requires that you support your student, attend parent/teacher meetings and abide by the rules outlined in the Parent Contract.

How much do I pay?

See chart at bottom of this page.

YES! We accept School Readiness Vouchers from the Early Learning Coalition. Please contact our office for more information.

Do you accept my School Readiness Voucher?

Does my child wear a uniform?

YES, at Arlington Community Academy each child will wear a uniform with the ACA logo.

Are you affiliated with a church?

No, ACA is a Christian school but we are not affiliated with a specific church. We are a non-denominational school focusing on teaching excellent academics, character development, and Christian faith to families in Jacksonville. We welcome children of all faiths and we welcome family to attend our weekly chapel services.

What grade levels do you serve?

In August 2017 we will open our school with Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grades.

We will grow each year until 5th grade.

Can non-Christian's attend?

We welcome students of all religions, race, color, family backgrounds, nationality, ethnic origin, and household incomes. We will be teaching about the Christian faith in our weekly chapel services and will be encouraging prayer, reflection and biblical lessons during the week.

Will my child use technology?

YES! We encourage teachers to use technology every day, in every classroom, in all grade levels.

Is there a school bus or transportation provided?

Unfortunately, there is not transportation provided at this time. The parents/guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking their children every day.

Is there before/after school care for my child?

Yes, we are excited to be able to provide after-school services through our partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs. Boys and Girls Club at ACA will lead summer and after-school programs for students 5-13 years old. For more information, visit: www.bgcnf.org or call (904) 395-4435.
