The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

“The Boys and Girls Club has been in Jacksonville for about 50 years, and now it’s looking to grow its footprint in what it views as an underserved region.

More specifically, the local chapter of the nonprofit is looking to grow its presence in Northeast Florida through partnerships, such as a recent agreement with Arlington Community Academy to use its new 35,000-square-foot facility for its summer camp and after school programs.

About 100 children are being served at the summer school program at Arlington Community Academy, which is running between June 20 and July 21. The program runs between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., every day and includes features like computer and STEM labs, as well as outdoor activities, games and lunch every day.”
